Future Android: GTasks

Have you ever started the day with a list of things that needed to be done but realized halfway through the day that you can't exactly remember what they all were? If so, GTasks might be the solution for you.

GTasks is a rich Google Task client/simple to-do tool that automatically syncs with your Google Account but also lets you store items in local mode.

Although simple in nature, GTasks is everything I have been searching for in a tasks program. It auto syncs to your Google Account which allows you to have one list viewable in all your Google apps such as Gmail and calendar. You can categorize items into different groups and even set due dates with snoozable notifications. You can create repeatable tasks and even share tasks with your contacts. The widget is clean and simple and is a nice added touch that adds to GTasks overall effectiveness.

GTasks is free which means it is ad supported but that can be removed by purchasing the key for $6.99 which is not to bad, although the ads themselves are simple banner ads at the bottom of the screen and do not get in your way.

Overall, I say this is at the top of the list for a simple To-Do app that syncs to Google Tasks.
